Instead of "inside out", you could substitute "upside down". And
XXX both of those phrases are without the word “and”.

Especially be careful with "humble". One of the (mostly passive?)
most repulsive characters is in
Charles Dickens’ books, calls himself again and again
just a humble man, but he is actually very nasty.

They are actually kid’s words. But adults XXX dowould use sometimes.
I think Bell doesn’t really expect Takahashi-san to make silly mistakes.

"Oversight" is a kind of interesting word that you have to be careful with. As a noun, it has two meanings. One meaning is related to
"supervising someone". The other meaning is
"miss something", "overlook it". It’s an accidental omission.

As a verb, it has only one meaning, and that is "to supervise".
